Automatic Conveyors & Material Handling Systems

Automatic Parallel Transfer Conveyor (Cross Transfer System)

The smart link for U-shaped production lines. This Automatic Parallel Transfer Conveyor is designed to move panels laterally from one conveyor line to another parallel line. It is the key component for creating Return Lines or U-Turn Layouts, allowing you to fit a long production process into a compact factory space.

Product Description

The TS-PT Parallel Translation Conveyor (Cross Transfer) provides a seamless solution for changing the flow direction of your panels. Instead of a long straight line, it allows panels to be transferred 90 degrees sideways to a return conveyor or a parallel processing station.

How it works:

  1. Arrival: The panel arrives on the roller conveyor and hits a stopper.

  2. Lifting & Transfer: A set of cross-belts (or chains) pops up between the rollers, lifts the panel slightly, and carries it sideways to the adjacent line.

  3. Discharge: The panel is lowered onto the next conveyor to continue its journey.

Why do you need it?

  • Space Saving: Essential for factories with limited length. It enables ‘U’ or ‘Z’ shape layouts.

  • Labor Reduction: Automates the transfer process, eliminating the need for manual off-loading and reloading.

  • Buffering: Can be used to move panels into an offline buffer zone for cooling or inspection.

Ideal For:

  • U-Turn Lines: Connecting the end of a coating line to a return drying line.

  • Right-Angle Transfer: Diverting panels 90 degrees to a different station.

  • Buffer Systems: Moving panels out of the main flow for temporary storage.

  • Sorting: Distributing panels to different parallel packing lines.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1:Can it transfer heavy panels?

Yes. Standard models use durable PVC belts for transfer. For heavy loads (like solid wood doors), we can upgrade the transfer mechanism to Heavy Duty Chains to ensure smooth movement without slipping.

No. The transfer belts are made of non-marking rubber or PVC. The lifting action is gentle, ensuring the board is lifted clear of the rollers before moving sideways, preventing friction scratches.

By using a Parallel Transfer to create a U-turn, you can cut the required length of your factory building in half. Instead of a 100m long straight line, you can have two 50m lines side-by-side.
