Product Description

The TAISAN Profile Sanding Machine solves the challenge of sanding non-flat surfaces. It is widely used for processing CNC-routed doors, shaker-style cabinets, and solid wood components with complex reliefs.

How it works: Instead of rigid sanding belts, this machine employs a combination of Disc Brushes and Spiral Rollers.

  • Disc Brushes: Rotate horizontally to sand deep into corners and cross-grain areas.

  • Spiral Rollers: Rotate vertically to sand long grooves and surface contours.

This configuration allows the machine to effectively remove ‘fuzz’ and prepare the surface for painting or membrane pressing, drastically reducing manual labor.

Ideal For:

  • Kitchen Cabinet Doors: Sanding CNC-routed designs and recessed panels.

  • Solid Wood Furniture: Polishing curved or carved chair and table parts.

  • Mouldings: Sanding complex skirting boards and frames.

  • Primer Sealer Sanding: Gently smoothing the primer coat on shaped parts.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1:Will it flatten the details of my carving?

No. That is the main difference between this and a calibration sander. The sanding heads are flexible (brush-backed abrasive). They “flow” over the shape, sanding the surface skin without changing the geometry or flattening the design.

Yes. The sanding strips on the brushes are replaceable. You can switch between coarse grit (for raw wood sanding) and fine grit (for primer polishing) depending on your needs.

It is excellent for both. It effectively removes wood fibers from raw wood (white wood sanding) and is gentle enough to polish lacquer/primer without sanding through the edges.
